Florida State Can't Rest on Upset of Top-Ranked Duke

FSU once again is relying on a physical, gritty defense that can set the game's tempo and tone, mixing that with a blue-collar offense that isn't pretty to watch at times. The Seminoles have actually limited 84 of their last 85 opponents to 50 percent shooting or less from the field. Duke shot a season-low 31.1 percent and converted a woeful 11-of-35 from beyond the arc. While Hamilton admitted that Duke "brought out the best of us," the Seminoles were also quick to admit they must maintain their focus and energy. FSU might be the third-winningest program in the ACC since 2008-09 and has won 19 games over ranked opponents in Hamilton's nine years, but it really hasn't been able to strengthen its status.
