Under Armour practice Day 2 blog

Pettis crushes Johnson 3:33 pm ET -- Another 'Noles pledge, offensive lineman Trey Pettis just de-cleated five-star Anthony Johnson. The future LSU defensive tackle did not see him coming. One of the harder hits so far this week. Karlos to the house 3:32 pm ET -- Karlos Williams picks off a Max Wittek pass and takes it to the house. White team defense is very excited celebrating with Williams, a future Seminole, in the end zone. Diskel picked off 3:20 pm ET -- Jeff Driskel throws pick six to Trey DePriest. The future Buckeye, who has really impressed us with his range in coverage, undercut a Brandon Fulse route and took it to the house. Throw Nick's way 3:00 pm ET -- Nick Waisome, who will play in Tallahassee, is begging for something to be thrown in his direction but no dice. Living up to the competition 2:50 pm ET -- Oklahoma commit Jordan Phillips blows past Trey Pettis, whose headed to Florida State, with a swim move. The kid from Kansas is playing against the best competition he's ever faced and doing very well. Newberry making plays 2:44 pm ET -- A couple of notes on Giorgio Newberry's day. The Seminoles commit handled Ohio State commit Steve Miller. He then beat Miller with great leverage. Newberry then shifted to defensive end and used an impressive spin move to get past Bobby Hart, a future teammate in Tallahassee. Heated Bellamy 2:27 p.m. ET -- Clemson commit Mike Bellamy is having a spirited "conversation" with his running backs coach after he missed him with a pass. Bellamy wanted the ball because he can make plays. Bellamy backed up his talk on the next rep beating Anthony Wallace, a future Duck, on a fly route. Bellamy remains visibly upset during inside run drills.
