EJ Manuel is back at practice and wore pads for the second consecutive day. He says he is likely to play and so does Jimbo Fisher. On the other injury front, Darius Cummings has either a thumb or hand injury and has a cast on his hand. FSU has tremendous defensive line depth, so you're unlikely to see the third/fourth-string Cummings this weekend. Also, expect more Telvin Smith and or Nickel packages because Vince Williams had his knee drained.I didn't get the impression that that is anything major.
I fully expect to see more young guys on the offense. Let's face it, 88 and 85 have each had four years and are still making the same mistakes that freshmen make. And it that's going to happen, it just makes sense to play the more talented freshman (Nick O'Leary) and live with his mistakes. The same goes for Devonta Freeman, who might have benefited from the extra reps during the bye week.
This was reported in Monday's press conference thread [link], but FSU's game at Duke is scheduled for 3 PM and will be on the ACC network.
Chris Givens could shatter receiving records this year for Wake Forest - Blogger So Dear
He's very good. Very good.
My Take on Wake - Home | JournalNow.com
Givens has been among the very best players on the field in all four games this season, catching seven passes for 170 yareds and two touchdowns against Syracuse, six for 111 yarda against N.C. State, eight for 126 yards and a touchdown against Gardner-Webb and seven for 132 yards and and a touchdown at BC. His 47-yard touchdown reception against the Eagles was a thing of beauty, when he caught an out pattern, got to the sidelines quicker than the defense could react and then tight-rope walked along the boundary until he broke into the clear and left the pursuit in a cloud of dust.

ACC upset watch: Week 6 - ACC Blog - ESPN
1. Wake Forest at No. 23 Florida State: The Seminoles are the better team, but Wake Forest is well-coached and has quietly been gaining steam over the past few weeks. The Deacs are a much more confident group, they’ve got a winning quarterback in Tanner Price and they’re ahead of the game in the Atlantic Division race. FSU, though, had a much-needed bye week to get healthy, and quarterback EJ Manuel is expected to return. If the Noles overlook Wake Forest, they’ll be in trouble.
