"An ACC official Wednesday afternoon disputed a report suggesting conference referees missed seven calls in Florida State's game at Clemson two weeks ago. The report, which was published online late Wednesday morning said the conference privately acknowledeged missing calls that went against the Seminoles. The claims in the report, however, are "simply not true," ACC associate commissioner Michael Kelly told the Sentinel. Published on a private Florida State message board for that website's paying subscribers [Warchant], the report indicated that pivotal play calls were not ruled in the Seminoles' favor during their 35-30 loss to Clemson. According to a source listed in the report, the penalties in question resulted in a 21-point swing in favor of the Tigers. " Story also posted to Orlando Sentinel in addition to the Sun Sentinel.
