This is not a power poll. I don't attempt to rank teams based on how good I think they are. I only rank teams based on their resume. What have they done? Not how talented are their players or what other polls project them to do, but what have they done? The poll is designed to be dynamic. I try to start from scratch every week.

Same as always. Quality losses, quality wins. Not a power poll. If a team plays bad opponents then that team needs to win convincingly. 

Notes: 'Noles are out. Huge surprise. VT jumps up almost by default. Oregon drops but not terribly for losing to a good USC team. USC jumps up quite a bit, perhaps too much. Oklahoma State had a big loss but it is only their first. Hard to drop them lower. Same with Oklahoma though Baylor is worlds better than Iowa State. Clemson and Nebraska get dropped like a rock for both getting destroyed. Nebraska loss to Michigan not as bad as Clemson getting destroyed by NC State. What a crazy weekend of football.
