FSU can't afford that. Trying to figure out the story here. Not saying this is true or untrue. But damn, that's a lot of money. Way more than FSU is paying Stoops. If he wants to quickly be a HC, he stays. If he doesn't get along with Jimbo, he goes. If he wants to coach one of the most talented defenses in the country, he stays. If he wants to almost double his salary and/or get SEC experience, he goes. Again, small radio station reports are inherently sketchy. 4:45 Update: No other source has come close to confirming this. And believe me, we've tried. This seems like just some feeling out by Mark to gauge his market value. Could it happen? Sure. But it would be surprising.
