Terry Bell, a talented defensive tackle from Tenoroc HC of Lakeland, FL signed with the Florida state Seminoles. Bell is 6'5" and 295 lbs. He is impressive physically with a tremendous frame with great length. While Bell is raw, he uses his long arms to disarm the blocker and then sheds him pretty well, quickly finding the ball carrier. Great pursuit and effort. Even covers punts well. He's relatively unpolished, however, and his technique could improve as he plays too high. The greatest criticism of Bell is that he doesn't do a great job of breaking down when addressing a ball carrier and is often out of control once he gets past the blocker. The competition he plays is a bit suspect and his team is pretty bad (outscored 293-27 by Lakeland, Liberty, Winter Haven, Lake Wales, Auburndale, Sebring, and Jenkins in 2009).
Bell's senior season was disappointing, however, as he injured his knee, was much less effective, and elected for surgery.

Bell's academic profile suggests that he will not qualify for Florida State. Instead, FSU will assist him with a JUCO placement. FSU fans can look for him in Tallahassee in 2013
