Finally, DA U is back

Miami Hurricanes linebacker Ramon Buchanan has been suspended indefinitely from the team after being arrested Friday on felony charges of resisting a police offer with violence and battery on a police officer, firefighter or emergency medical care provider. Buchanan, 21, also was charged with three misdemeanors — disorderly conduct, trespassing and resisting a police officer without violence. Buchanan started 10 games last season and finished fifth on the team with 54 tackles, eight for a loss, and one interception. He started spring practice No. 1 on the depth chart. His suspension comes after an NBC Miami report last week that six Miami players – Seantrel Henderson, Storm Johnson, Kelvin Cain, Keion Payne, Dyron Dye and Devont’a Davis – had been suspended for the 2011 season opener against Maryland for violating team rules.
