looks like
a fairly even mix… at first glance gold seems a bit more stacked to me
Looks like Gold gets the starting QB and entire starting OL...
Every other position looks pretty damn equal between the two.

I'm excited
to see the WR corps EJ has. We’ve heard so much about them, now they have a shot at seeing throws from the #1 guy.

Gold oline has more starters it seems. and garnet d-line isn't the a-team.
I think they move the ball a lot easier than expected. 31-10 gold.

Adding to that...

All I have to say is we really do have alot of talent.
Tried to pick a favorite team and I cant. But Reid and Telvin on the same team as Devonta? Kindaaaaa swaying that way.

Gold
'11: Minimum Goal: 9-3 Regular Season. Given FSU's non-con slate, don't care who the 9 are.
'10: 7th in offense, 41st in defense. Division Champions. 10-4. (6-3)
'09: 8th in offense, 88th in defense. 7-6 (4-4)

Interesting how unbalanced the numbers are on O/D
Garnet has an extra receiver and an extra back (I’m assuming to offset for Gold’s QB and OL) while Gold has 2 extra DL and 2 extra S. I think Gold wins the trenches and, unless I am undervaluing Trickett/Secord and overvaluing Waisome/Commack, I agree that Gold wins this one
Garnet needs extra receivers
3 Freshmen lineman, and the sophomore Faircloth trying to block Jenkins. Trickett/Secord will be running for their lives.

Ahhh, now that you have updated so that I can see the depth charts...
I still think the Garnet team will have trouble scoring.
Thank you for updating this.

new guys im most anxious to watch... its tough to keep it to three
carradine, green (what was his injury? shoulder? any indications of lingering effects?), and freeman

Either of these teams could potentially be a bowl quality team in the ACC

Better QB and defensive line. Gold offensive line is also a bit better imo.

I dont think Garnet OL will be able to stop Gold DL
But if they do Garnet wins. Garnet’s secondary has the best shot at getting a defensive score imo.

prolly should just say slow down the dl
If garnet ol stops gold dl we’re in trouble this season

Gold looks stacked
Offense will already have troubles and Gold has Ej with Reed, Shaw and Jones and some sort of o line and on D they have Tank, Nigel, Joyner, Jenkins,
Nice to have a well coached team finally that has that many good names just on one half of a team thats split for a Spring game

Gold should win.
Interesting that the Gold team has the speed/quick DL and the Garnet has the strength/mass DL. Looking forward to the game. Hopefully no rain and no injuries.
I'm absolutely certain the Noles will win tomorrow.

I know the Spring game is not typically the place where we see a new guy become a starter in just a few hours but
who do you guys expect to perform surprisingly well?
Devonta Freeman and Tank Abbott, whoops, I mean Carradine come to mind.

Gold has the upper hand
However, i see that their corners are 2 inexperienced guys in Waisome and Commack. Interesting to see how the young freshman does and how Commack does too
I first read this as "God has the upper hand"
I concur with either

Yeah, I may look foolish tomorrow.
But here’s my thinking. Better defense, younger, hungrier, and since I assume the QB’s are “off limits”, the two Garnets can stand in there with confidence and throw to better wide receivers.
Off limits means if a defender gets close it's an auto-sack and the play's called dead, no?

problem is Gold is better in the trenches AND has what we assume to be a much better QB.

Interesting to see Smiley starting
at FB. I forgot all about him. Does anybody know how has his spring been going and is there any chance he gets some playing time this year. Also the 2 D ends for the Gold is just sick!!!! Its almost not fair. Both of those guys will be playing on Sundays.
Here is some info for anyone that does not get ESPN3.
What is the ESPN3 login info? Idk if this still works but it’s worth a shot (it did during football season)
1. Select Comcast as your ISP regardless of who is your actual provider
2. Username = footballboard@comcast.net
3. Password = warchant

So if Time Warner is my provider and I click Comcast that will work?
I thought I couldn’t draw off Comcast if I had anything else
Is Nick Moody hurt?
For all the flak he took, the guy is a walking highlight reel. Am surprised to see him not to see him on either roster.
He is out with the groin injury.
