PrintFINAL UPDATE: The Seminoles destroyed the Texas A&M 23-9 on Sunday afternoon. The Aggies used 5 pitchers, none who are very good while the Noles used 3 pitchers to hold things together setting up a winner take all game for tomorrow night at 7PM. Congrats to the Noles for taking care of business, a full preview will be up tomorrow.

The best thing to do is pay the $60 or $100 to for a booster membership, and attend the tour stops they make. I sent my dad in my place to the Pensacola one (I got sick as hell), and he got to meet Jimbo, picture taken, etc. He said “It was nice to meet him, but I couldn’t keep up with a damn word he said”

I don't think people understand how a pitcher "feels" after throwing 6 or 7 innings in a game in the heat.
Especially a college kid who doesn’t do this for a living. It’s exhausting. The short time I played in college, guys could hardly raise it above their head the next day, let alone throw.

only reason I see to do that
is if both teams were lower seeds, like the DBU-Cal series, where neither really “earned” the right to be home team, just happened to be matched up against a slightly lower ranked team or you just have better facilities.

Scantling will start for us, and the plan is probably to go Scantling-Busch-Bennett if we get our way. Everyone but Gilly, Sitz and McGee is probably available under the circumstances.
For A&M it’s going to be the Wacha guy who is said to be really good, but past him I’m not sure how much they’ve got. I wanna say they still have a closer they haven’t used.
Tonight we pounded their starter in the first inning and got A&M in a situation where they had to put out their second rate relievers to preserve themselves for Game 3. Obviously, we really beat up on those guys.

They had one guy who was even better than Stripling who went down injured, so Stripling is their best healthy guy.
Wacha has been amazingly hot though, I think the stat I’ve heard is 1 ER in the last 20+ innings for him.
That's bound to change.

Per the Aggies site, both guys have about 40 IP this season, ~1.2 WHIP, 4:1 and 3:1 respective K:BB ratio. 2 out of their top 3 relievers, Hinojosa the other one. The hits won’t come easy for us tomorrow.
No they won't come easy
but quite a few people were ready to write us off after the first game. We made it to a tommorrow, which is all you can ask. Well besides winning the next one :)
