EJ Manuel Named to Davey O'Brien Watch List
Nigel Bradham Selected as Finalist for Butkus Award

EJ Manuel is on the watch list for the Davey O’Brien Award, which is presented annually to the nation’s best college quarterback, and one that exhibits character, teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership in both academics and athletics.

FSU's defense will face 3 quarterbacks this season who also made the list. They are Oklahoma's Landry Jones, Maryland's Danny O’Brien, and Duke's Sean Renfree.

Meanwhile, Bradham is a finalist for the Butkus Award which is given annually to the top linebacker in college football. FSU's offense will line up against 9 linebackers (possibly 10) who's names also appear on this list, this season.

As previously mentioned in our Watch List story, EJ is also a candidate for the prestigious Maxwell Award, while Bradham is now on four of the nation's top defensive awards watch lists, the Butkus, Lombardi, Bednarik, and Nagurski.
