"The Opening" is some sort of combine/showcase event put on at Oregon by Nike. There are tons of elite players there from all over the country, including FSU's defensive end commitment, Chris Casher.
As a refresher, here's the specs on Casher:

When it came time for 1-on-1s, Casher was unblockable:
I'm not sure Josh Garnett laid a finger on #FSU commit Chris Casher at #theopening
Chris Casher is fast and strong. Wins twice. #theopening
Chris Casher looks a cut above the rest here during lineman drills at #theopening
Texas OL Curtis Riser has been one of the most consistent performers for offense. Alabama DL Chris Casher doin well for defense
#FSU commit Chris Casher was too much for Patrick Miller. Casher is probably my DL MVP to this point at #theopening
Here's how you describe Chris Casher, un-blockable!
Chris Casher vs. Patrick Miller...no contest. #theopening
#FSU verbal Chris Casher had another strong day in 1-on-1's @ #theopening - size, power, speed, uses hands well - very tough to handle
Bottom line? It is not at all out of line to suggest that FSU has the top two defensive end recruits in the country. And the 'Noles certainly have three of the top 10 when you throw in Fowler.
