What time is the Florida State at Clemson game? Does it matter if Florida State beats Oklahoma or if Clemson bests Auburn the week before? Will it be a night game? An evening game? A noon game?
Late night is likely out, as So Cal-Arizona St. and Oregon-Arizona are both slotted for 10:15 starts on ESPN and ESPN2. Any game on ESPN or ESPN 2 will have a 6:45 start time in the early slot.
What about ABC? LSU and West Virgina has already been announced for a night game on ESPN or ABC. Notre Dame at Pitt has also been announced for a night time game on ABC or ESPN.
Oklahoma St and Texas AM have also announced a 7PM start time (6:45), most likely to picked up ESPN2 or FOX Sports Regional. But Missouri and Oklahoma are on at 8 on the new FX TV contract. I assume FX has replaced the Fox Regional time slot and do not see 2 games on fox networks from the Big 12 at the same time.
FSU-Clemson could show on ESPN2 with a 6:45 start time, but with no other ACC games that day of interest (except UNC and GATech), it is a safe bet that FSU-Clemson goes to the regional ACC spot on ABC at 3:30.
Split national audience
3:30 ABC
FSU at Clemson
UCLA at Oregon St. on the west coast
Colorado at Ohio St in the mid westArkansas and Alabama on CBS at 3:30
6:45 LSU and WVA on Espn
6:45 OK St and Texas AM on Espn 2
8:00 Notre Dame and Pitt on ABC National
10:15 So Cal and Arizona St on Espn2
10:15 Oregon and Arizona on Espn
