Sweet.
I hate celebrating injuries and players not qualifying but damn it I want to beat OU and go on a title run!
I liked this comment over there
Everyone is going to have to be fully committed and focused when OU rolls into the Doak against Florida State. The winner of that game will probably decide one of spots in the national championship game.
OU seems to have a lot of respect for us.
It’s strange but I thought their chances of winning in Doak were better than they did.
I just pre-ordered my SI 2012 FSU Championship Package.

I think they were cocky SOB's that thought they'd whoop us.
But as the game draws nearer they may becoming less sure of themselves.
MiNDSET? SWAG-ER-ISM!!!

Correct, Sir Trick.

You’re right.
and then there's this...

We’re assuming any of these OU homers actually watched any ACC football outside of last September?
"This year I am focused on scoring. I want to score, along with getting good field position for the offense. I am going to try and score a little bit this year. I kinda miss the endzone a little bit." -G5
Tulsa runs an offense that has very little in common with FSU...
correct? While at least one of our cupcakes runs an uptempo OU type offense (I think I read that somewhere here)? Would that “practice” (and the fact that neither cupcake has a snowball’s chance in hell of beating us) not prepare us better for the 17th?
Florida State...
is not losing to overrated and overhyped Oklahoma… This will be the shock of the year and we’re going to make Skip Bayless eat it….
Wait, what?
What did Bayless say?

Skip and Darnell Dockett have a bet on the OU-FSU game this year.
"FSU Football is all about speed. Hot, nasty, bad-ass speed."
-Eleanor Roosevelt
Skip thinks we will get crushed basically.
His analysis is on par with the comment section of ESPN.
1. We won last year. hence win this year. 2. You don’t have Ponder anymore. 3. End of Story.
Everybody relax, I'm here.
Most people are expecting a close, good game
Not really a shock if we win in most people’s eyes, it seems.
And Bayless is an idiot, anyway. I don’t even know or care what he said.

I don't think it will be close.
We’re not as consistent with execution yet as OU is. Not until next year.
I get the feeling that this year if we win, it will be because we’re more physical and deeper. And if that’s the case, we won’t just squeak by them.
If our size and speed is not enough, however, they should win handily, maybe by 2 touchdowns.

That's why I said most
I’m not sold on the close game or FSU winning aspects. I know one thing: if FSU wins, it’ll be close.

I think FSU is a year away
And if OK is overrated then I have no idea what we are. I expect a BCS game but we still haven’t even won the ACC in forever. To call a team that made us rethink last year overrated just because we are playing at home with almost the same team is something needing monitoring. Its major Kool Aid ODing
A Seminole warrior killed in battle is a legend remembered. A Gator lost in battle becomes a pair of boots and a belt.
twitter of random stuff and tons of confessing FSU love @caine115
that same team
Is a lot older and a lot more experienced. I think your selling us short.

well, the defense is.
remains to be seen whether we finally have an explosive offense.

Jimbo has been very complimentary of the WRs this fall
Saying they are the best he’s seen at FSU since arriving. I think we’ll be plenty explosive. Just my opinion of course.
Formerly known as 'stilts'
We were fairly explosive
during the lost decade. We weren’t efficient, consistent, good on third down and smart.

OU has both.

FSU, in fact,
is clearly not the same team. I’m loving the “they cannot have improved by 30 points” analysis in OU land. Truth is,OU could have won by over 40 points easily, but the big margin argument falls flat when you ask, “How much different would the score have been if the FSU D had been able to line up right?” OU wins that game no matter, but the big margin was primarily due to our inability to align,
Can an inexperienced D learn to align correctly in a year? Yes
Who had more to gain in the weight room and at the training table this off season? FSU
And on and on. Lots of reasons why this game should be competitive this year when it was not last.
This is actually where the ACC’s crappy reputation may be of help. People just don’t expect much and won’t until…

OU was not 30pts better than us last year
play that same game 9 more times and the point spread would be much different
