Injury Report: Manuel, Shaw, Reed and Reid all Questionable
Any thoughts on this? I apologize if it has been covered elsewhere, but I think it's pretty relevant to tomorrow.
I'm particularly surprised by Shaw not being simply "Out". A week after a concussion it seems like he'd be held out as a precaution, even if he seemed fine.
Was it officially ruled a concussion? Or was he just KO'd temporarily, with a few concussion-like symptoms?
I also didn't expect Greg Reid to be on this list. I guess all the talk about EJ overshadowed the rest.
Has Bert Reed been practicing in full pads, running routes, etc? How likely is it we'll see him out there?
At this point I believe EJ is a legitimate GTD. If he's feeling really good tomorrow afternoon, I imagine it'll be hard for Jimbo to keep him on the sidelines. Maybe he starts Trickett but has Manuel ready to go if things start to decline?
Pretty anxious to see how this all plays out. But, man, if Shaw and Reed see the field I'll feel a whole lot better.

EJ is not going to play in this game. Not even if it is close and clint gets hurt.

I wasn't sure just how bad Secord was.

Coker redshirted.
Besides, Secord would get the nod, more then likely, if Trickett were to get hurt. Hopefully the run game can get going. But, I think we might see some bubble screens IF EJ were to play. But I seriously doubt it. What was his injury anyways. I had heard bruised shoulder. Was that what it was?

Rumor is Shaw practiced yesterday.
Anyone know if It’s true?

Q an A on Shaw with Fisher
Was it good to see Kenny Shaw out there?
Oh yeah, very encouraging. Moved around good, did some things, played all practice. Looked fresh. Look like he got rested for a couple of days.
So there’s a chance he could play?
Yeah, there is. Yes, as of right now, that’s what we’re looking at.
That's great! Down to 4 recievers so
if we get Shaw back and if he can preform the way he was during the OU game before he got hurt, then it would help us. Personally, I think we win due to our D

Jimbo will always use questionable over out if it’s remotely feasible. Why tell the opponent who is and who isn’t playing?

The gamblers certainly want to know
FSU started the week a 2.5 to 3 point favorite. We’re now a 2.5 point dog.
You can bet your sweet patootie that all those guys that have placed bets on this game will be very interested to see who lines up behind center for FSU on our first offensive series.

are you concerned?
or do you think this might be a little bit of a showmanship play by Jimbo?
He thought he tore something when I looked the replay
It really looked bad

I Love FSU but the love for G5 is
unfounded at this moment! he is good, not great. but better than ok, not the best at his position on the team! NOWHERE close to best on the team, or in the ACC. So why so much love? Hopkins should get twice the love he gets; and if not him Werner should for two years of doggin’ men in the trenches.

because on a given play he can flip you field position. He was an athlete playing football with good “athlete instincts” as a recruit. He becoming more refined as a football player in college. DB is a position where your mistakes get magnified…but on punt returns alone he’s a special & dangerous player.

percentage he plays?
what do you give it? 25?
Are you worried about Reid having structural damage to his knee?
If not, he played the rest of the OU game at a relatively high level and should be able to go this game I would think. If he sprained his knee or ankle badly he wouldve never stayed out on the field last saturday.

I knew G5 was hurt in that game
After he twisted his leg back, he seemed to play much slower on the punt returns, and on the Kenny Stills touchdown he just didn’t have the extra leap needed to get to the ball (off by just a hair- game over).
Thank you captain obvious :)

You're welcome
I just wish jimbo had been aware of his lmitations at that stage of the game
Yeah
He bit and let Stills get behind him, then it was a jumping match and Stills wins that one 9-10 times.

With the 1 time he wins being an under thrown ball.

I think if he weren't hurt
he would have had a better chance at deflecting the ball
Hope so for the futures sake.
