More info about Sharrif Floyd's infractions

10

This was an interesting article, especially in light of Muschamp's recent press release concerning Floyd: "He had tears in his eyes and said 'What have I done wrong?' I told him he did nothing wrong. It wasn’t any easier to tell him today that he would be missing Saturday’s game. I have two sons at home--if they end up like Sharrif I will consider myself a successful father." (http://blogs.palmbeachpost.com/gatorbytes/2011/09/08/will-muschamp-blasts-ncaa-for-suspending-de-sharrif-floyd/) Does anybody else know more about organizations like the Student Athlete Mentoring Foundation? Do they have legitimate philanthropic interests or are they just shady intermediaries for schools trying to coerce players?
