Does this help in regard to any recruits that FSU/Bama are competing for?

Should be good news for at least one recruit...
Eddie Goldman
Can you imagine that Dline?
Werner
Jenkins
McDaniel
Jernigan
Carradine
Edwards
Casher
Fowler
Stuckey
That would be the definition of dominant.
Shanks, Dawkins, and Erving should be there too
and there there is the quality depth in Mitchell, Lawrence-Stample, Newberry, McCloud, McAllister, Hicks, Cummings
Is Newberry stil a possible switch to OL?
I am what time, circumstance, history, have made of me, certainly, but I am also, much more than that.- James Baldwin
If it is going to happen
I think it will happen in the spring. Probably depends on who is signed Feb 1 (do all the commits hold) and how his body did with the fall training table and S&C program. Any word on his size now as opposed to his size when he enrolled?

BCS game quality line. With backups. Never again will happen what happened two years ago where DL got worn down by the end of the year. NEVER. AGAIN.
Crazy how that was only two years ago. We’ve gone from liability to giant asset. Of course bringing in superstar recruits that can play right away helps, along with super development (Erving).

As much as people complain… FSU actually did the same with a quality OL group (Matias, Hart, Carter, Barron, Prestwood) in last years class and in theory was one year behind the defense with this group
that's step one, fsu.
need to build on that (not with juco) like how CJF and co pile on the dl
Am I the meanest? Am I the prettiest? Am I the baddest mofo low down around this town? Well who am I? Who am I?

Mix – And i say that because of the tremendous talent of the youth. So many those players who can play on OL are FR. making them Sophs this year. So there needs to be a smidge of a gap in ages with some because of that and there’s less rotation for OL for continuities sake than on DL. So plugging in some JC for quality depth is reasonable. Just don’t want to build entire classes with them year after year. With a group of Sophs & Jrs you can reasonably plan and balance out your next 2 year cycle
Obviously a very valid point.
I really don’t like how the Krug experiment turned out this year (even though he’s improved tremendously, the way he played at the beginning of the season was atrocious… and the billing that the staff gave him may have even made it worse…) and as a result I’m very leery of JuCo transfers for offensive linemen. Not to mention that it doesn’t leave a whole lot of team for gelling with teammates, coming up from JuCo.
At the end of the day though, I’m also very confident in the staff (in Trickett too… feel like I should clarify before someone reads into what I say) and would much rather have a guy from inside the program from Day One, you know? I still believe in the process.
