Glad FSU was the one to break the ice with Mamma!
I named my first born "Bud Elliott". She will thank me when she is older~

Same
Hopefully that connection his mom had when they were down in Tally would convince Goldman enough to commit.

He will be a nole
I have made it no secret that I am quite confident in him coming to FSU… TTFWIW
Yeah,
I figured that much afterwards. Thanks!
He is entitled to his own opinion, but if he would have followed my comments throughout Goldman’s recruitment, he would be able to figure out I know something… I have played and coached hs football in the DC area. I am not saying its a 100% done deal, but we are in a very good position for him. That’s all I am saying…

Having lived in DC
Mr. Davis sounds very much like someone from the Belt. Extremely practical and not all impressed by the flair (you don’t survive long in DC if you get sucked in by the crap shoot).
All in all, I think having someone coming in from that type of background would be great for FSU. As with all of recruiting, one hopes that the player feels that the college experience, education and football program are good for themselves.
