3. FSU converted 7-14 (50%) from beyond the arc. This was the first game all season in which the Noles made 50% or more. In fact, it was the 2nd game in two seasons where the Noles did this. Xavier Gibson (17%) and Okaro White (24%) both made their only attempt, and Deividas Dulkys made 2-4. In the past three games Dulkys is now 12-17 (70.1%) raising his season average from 32.1% to 41.1%.

I don't like Gibson shooting beyond the arc...
but I liked his overall play lately. He seems to be following James lead and being much more aggressive especially on the offensive end of the floor…am I imagining this?

He wasn't a good fit for the cross-screening and 3-2 motion we were running.
With the 3-guard lineup he gets much more space, which he needs because he likes to attack off a dribble or two

But he couldn’t stay out of foul trouble. Still looks lost on defense for stretches, ESP early in games. Had a clutch block late in the Duke game though.

On that block (of Rivers) proper footwork would have kept Rivers from ever getting into the lane.
Got lucky and recovered just enough to block it.

Hey Michael, I appreciate your passion for our Noles on the hardwood...I was there from '87-'91 and saw some great hoops..still get there for a game a year from Indiana...thanks

Loving the timing of our solid play in sooo many ways!
I was in Vegas and saw our line at Duke -5.5….thought about it all morning Sat. and decided AT Duke, that our run my cool off a little…
Had to rush to the window to place my bet 5 minutes before tip to get action on this game and have some beers and watch when I was thrown a curveball…I couldn’t find the odds on the board at the book I was at, so just asked, what the line was at this casino…
I was shocked when they told me FSU+10….all over it for $50, and after a “Hangover” like bender last night, I now have some cash to get home on!!
