Hopefully the news causes some of the so called expert recruitniks to kill over and die from sheer shock
considering they didn’t even bother to mention he was an FSU commit when pumping out fluff stories about his recruitment geared toward Texas and SEC homers.
or even keel over and die...that would be good too.

And this one belongs to the NOLES!!
Thank you MEJr! Bud, do you see MEJr being able to pull a couple other non committed recruits?
maybe Peat…
Northern NOLE
Why anyone would be shocked by this is beyond me. Peat was never coming to Tally...thought he was a total longshot from the beginning.
IMO, Agholor wasn’t much different…I had Peat at 2% (like, if he wakes up in a cold sweat after dreaming about Jesus in warpaint…maybe, just maybe) and Agholor at no more than 5-10%. JHC not much higher than that at maybe 10%.
The other guys…Goldman, Northrup, etc….we have legitimate shots at, IMO.

Have you ever been a member of a subscription site?
Their job is to keep you shelling out cash…some are very good at making it seem recruits are interested in their school.
Evidenced by the fact that Miami subscription sites are still in business.

The six Rivals recruiting "experts"
agree with you. The good news is they all agree that Darby and Goldman will be wearing Garnet and Gold. This comes from their “free” info site.
i read that Peat’s brother is at Nebraska already. Might be the reason he sounds like a Husker lean.

During his last OV, I believe the Tarheel beat down weekend,
someone posted a picture of him in all Garnet gear (shirt & cap), and he looked like a natural-born Nole. At that point, I felt he was solid for us. I probably should’ve played the lotto that night as well. Welcome to the tribe MEJ, looking forward to see you dominate our rivals backfields!

One of two things is gonna happen... either
1. Our offensive line gets NOTHING productive done during practice due to getting mauled every damn play
or
2. Our offensive line gets SO MUCH productive done during practice due to our defensive line being 5x better than any one we’ll see all year
"But they understand expectations don’t win games. And just because you’re picked to win, they don’t give you the trophy when the season starts. And we tell our kids that we have to form great habits and have great work ethic and form our identity as a team. We just have to reinforce that everyday because as we tell them, the pressure of expectations is only there if we aren’t prepared for them. If we prepared for them and we’re prepared mentally and physically, the pressure of the expectation won’t bother us." - Jimbo Fisher
We hope the latter
And the entire Oline doesn’t get injured like 2011. I’m sure the coaches have learned this by now. They could always line them up in those Sumo wrestling suits and let ’em go at it.

No offense, FSU or ed64, but there are now, currently, at the present, as we speak, two threads with dialogue about who FSU is and what she knows — this and the recruiting thread. And we’ve been down this road before. Several times. Does she know anything more than we do, than Bud or Michael? Well, does it matter? Let’s get what we get from anyone who knows anything and move along to something else fresh.

It’s funny to hear Miami fans so excited about their class, full of 3 stars. It’s ironic really. Because they have a TON of vacancies they can track a chunk of these kids back to 2011, and have a huge class.

Yeah
In some ways, this year’s UM class is reminiscent of our 2008 class (ranked #8).
We had 29 guys averaging 3.24 stars. Bud noted that this class was the foundation of the 2010 team. See: http://www.tomahawknation.com/2010/2/4/1292300/florida-state-2010-recruiting
UM has 31 commits, averaging 3.35 stars.
The primary difference, I think, is that UM likely won’t have the same quality of classes follow this one that we had follow 2008’s. So I don’t think that they are on track to duplicate our upward trajectory – but they also don’t seem to be doing all THAT badly, all things considered.
Huge news..
