UM's stadium also a homeless shelter?
"As reported by the Miami Herald, state legislators have unearthed an obscure law that has not been enforced since it was adopted in 1988. It states that any ballpark or stadium that receives taxpayer money shall serve as a homeless shelter on the dates that it is not in use.
Now, a new bill would punish owners of teams who play in publicly funded stadiums if they don't provide a haven for the homeless."

Didn’t we get public $ for Doak or was that specifically for the ‘classrooms’ around the stadium in the University Center areas
This law only applies to
publicly funded stadiums used by franchises.
HAHAHA
And Devonta Freeman runs in for his 4 score of the day and it’s 35 to 0 FSU…and the crowd is certainly heading back to their tents/shelters for the night, as THIS…ONE…IS..OVER folks! O Wait…there’s a stir on the sidelines…maybe a QB change coming….no..it’s just Michael Irvin, apparently he just bought some crack from one of the bums here and is making his way onto the field…naked none the less…and HERE comes security……OH God…not even the best tackle on a Cane tonight as Irvin is absolutely blind sided by security and tased multiple times.

Took the words right out of my mouth
I was thinking they could give them orange Tshirts and stick them up in the stands so there would not be so many empty seats.
Don't think so.
The homeless crowd has been making regular appearances there for at least all of last year.
Shouldn't it be
“Homeless shelter now forced by Florida Law to be able to be used as UM stadium”
"Nick Cage..."

Come on guys, homeless people have it hard enough
Just because they’re homeless, doesn’t mean they have poor taste in college football teams.

So, THAT’S how they signed such a big class this year.
Most Miami fans have a bead case of SARS. Slap Ass Retarded Syndrome.
