PrintLooking at the multiple threads and posts about mock classes has been very interesting and, in some cases, insightful.
I've been intrigued by some people that seem to have fairly solid information about the upcoming NSD. Seems like a lot of people have one or more sources that are well placed to provide "inside" information. I think others rely on their intuition and previous experience at surfing the web, twitter and other social media sites and apply this to comments made by recruits and the various factors that go into a kid selecting a school to play football for.
From this process they make "educated" guesses at where they think a kid will attend school.
However, the "guesses" that people have made are spread out over at least a dozen threads and poster names and predicitons become blurred. I would challenge the posting fans to make their predicitons of who will sign beyond the 16 current commitments and who may not sign of the 16.
No mock classes...just names of not already committed guys that sign and those that drop (if any).
Bud and staff are not eligible.

I bet it was.
People were saying some harsh crap about her over there. I’m glad they wiped that out. She may be reading some of these, herself. I wouldn’t want my sister subjected to inappropriately suggestive comments, as were being made, or just flat out obnoxious comments about her being “stupid”. Uncalled for, in my humble opinion.

But people make it stupid/sexist and go way over the top. It’s the nature of the internet.
If people would just keep their conversational nature to how they would behave in front of the other person, this wouldn’t be a problem.
Right its the personal stuff or the appearance stuff that when you step back from it would really make you go…“Wow, did someone say that about someone who seems perfectly nice though you simply just disagree about their point of view”

If I have counted right, this would give us 23 players signed. Two of them are kickers, and 2 are JUCOs.
That leaves 19 High School Players: 14 of which are in the ESPN 150, 2 are 5*, 11 are 4*, and 1 is a 3*.
The 19 High School Players would average an 81.63 rating, using ESPN’s system.
For some perspective: UF has 20 commits, and only 3 of them are ranked 81 or better. UM has 31 commits, and only 2 of them are an 81 or better. CU has 20 commits, and 3 are an 81 or better.
Remember, we would average an 81.63, that is just killing it!
This is of course, just about the best case scenario. I could have put T.Howard, or B.Poole in there, but I didn’t want it to be unrealistic any more unrealistic. I know the chances of getting all these kids is very slim, but on an individual level, we have a decent shot at all of the ones I included. I don’t think that is the case with T.Howard, or B.Poole; I think their ships have sailed, although on ESPN yesterday they said T.Howard still had interest in FSU. So there is that.
So go ahead and put The Pit down for those 23, and everyone hope I am right.
Oh, I forgot about that 7’2" 394lb High School kid that got a 9 on his ACT. I can’t remember his name, but if he can get is Ducketts in a row, who knows. I don’t have the time to go back and redo all my calculations.

Not cowards. Like i said, I wanted to see predicitions in one thread.
Several reasons. One, it provides a single source from some pretty knowlegable people as to how our class ends up. I can see what the consensus is and go with that consensus as a strong indicator of what will happen on NSD.
Secondly, it will be something I can look at in gauging a poster’s reliability for future reference. Again a single source makes it easier than numerolus threads as I said.

Especially Michael, who seems to be developing his own brand with interviews, ratings, etc.
I fully expect to see him at some time in the future with his own recruiting service. At least I hope so.
But I think there are a few more posters here that have inside knowledge and have moved past just having fun.
The rest of us are just along for the ride.
