FSU defensive coordinator Mark Stoops to get $150K pay raise
According to FSU’s board of trustees chair, defensive coordinator Mark Stoops is set to receive a $150,000 pay raise for sparking a defensive revolution in Tallahassee. He also is set to earn an additional year on the three-year contract he signed last offseason. For now, it appears the days of constantly blown coverages, missed assignments, poor tackles and lacking turnovers have disappeared from view at Doak Campbell Stadium. The defense that routinely took the field for the Seminoles near the end of the 2000s looks to have vanished from view.
