Any guess on how these two games worked out?? The team in the first Column is the same in both games. Based on the two sets of stats it looks like Game 1 was won by the team in the 1st column, but it was probably pretty close. Game 2 was also probably won by the team in the 1st column, not quite as close, but still a decent ballgame.

GAME 1

Total Yards 589 443
First Downs 31 24
Yards Per Play 6.6 6.0
Rushing 188 193
Passing 401 250

GAME 2

Total Yards 533 366
First Downs 28 19
Yards Per Play 6.1 5.3
Rushing 70 186
Passing 463 180

Game 1 - West Virginia (Column 1) 70 - Clemson (Column 2) 33 - Clemson turned it over 4 times (including the 14 point swing fumble) and WVU turned it over only once. Special teams didn't come into play as much, but 3rd downs did - Clemson 3-13 and WVU 10-16.

Game 2 - LSU (Column 2) 47 - West Virigina (Column 1) 21 - WVU turned it over 4 times to LSUs 0. LSU also had a 99 yard KO return for a TD.
