A Challenge for Seminole Fans

Noles fans,

We're entering a challenging time in terms of the Florida State men's basketball program. We were all told this year would be special, and now we're looking 95% NIT-bound.

But don't give up yet. I challenge you to stay with this program for one more week (at least.) here's why:

September 17th. Remember that date, FSU fans? I know you do. It was the day of the Oklahoma game- we were ranked number 5, College Gameday was in town, and our very own Seminoles were about to take place in what was being called the game of the year.

The nation of college football fans and analysts who were in Tallahassee or watching Gameday and the game on TV that day were abuzz- This place looked hyped. This place was hyped. Florida State University looked awesome.

And although FSU fell 23-13 later that night, it was a good day for the Noles. People across America got to see what Seminole nation is all about.

This Saturday, FSU fans will get a chance to show themselves to the world again. You might not even know this, but College Gameday (basketball version) will be in Tallahassee for FSU's game against #3 ranked North Carolina.

Yes, the basketball team is 9-6. Yes, we are having some mighty embarrassing struggles this season. But do you want America to think that Florida State University has some sorry fans to go along with a sorry team?

My challenge to you is this: Make the Civic Center live this Saturday. Make it wild. I want to see the ESPN analysts saying "WOW!" when they look at the crowd. I want it to be just as loud as it was for College Gameday against Oklahoma.

Make a sign. Get to the Civic Center early. Have fun. Represent the Florida State Seminoles and show them what we're about.

GO NOLES!
