US PRESSWIRE - Presswire

Not a whole lot of news out there today.

It seems that someone either decided to tell Fisher how to publicly handle a loss like N.C. State, or he just finally decided to listen to what was being said to him before Monday's presser. In any case, he was much, much better Wednesday night during the call-in show. Have a listen for yourself.

He took more of the blame for the loss, was contrite, etc.

Now, did he do it because he realizes that there are things about his coaching that must change, or just for PR damage control? We won't know, and likely can't know without seeing more football games.

Also, incredibly, Boston College feels disrespected by Florida State:

"I think their mind-set is, OK, we were these big-time recruits, they're much more talented than us, we don't belong on the field with them," said BC linebacker Nick Clancy. "And I think that's kind of been the mentality for not just Florida State but a number of teams in the ACC when they face BC.

"They think that we're much less talented. But when it comes down to it, we're just different type of people. We're blue-collar people. We have a very strong work ethic, we know when adversity's thrown in our face what to do and how to respond, and I think that's what separates us."

Just, I have no idea. BC just lost to previously winless Army and gave up 516 yards rushing. Not a typo. 516.
