This is not a power poll. I don't attempt to rank teams based on how good I think they are. I only rank teams based on their resume. What have they done? Not how talented are their players or what other polls project them to do, but what have they done? The poll is designed to be dynamic. I try to start from scratch every week.

Notes: Bama tumbles but of course not out of the top 10. However they don't have the best resume as a one loss team. That belongs to either Florida or Georgia. Hard not to rank the head to head team above the others, so Georgia gets it. Georgia has struggled with bad teams, but Florida more so. LSU gets the head to head over Texas A&M. Overall resume argument could be made for UF to be above UGA and Texas A&M to be above LSU. Louisville getting beat by Syracuse made room for just one new top ten team in LSU. Louisville's best win is either UNC or Cincinnati.
