Tomahawk Nation on ESPN's Unite

Bud Elliott

Last night I had the chance to go on ESPNU's late night show, 'Unite.' It's a fun, lighthearted sports variety show featuring former Florida State quarterback Danny Kannel and co-host Reese Waters.

They asked me to come on and take part in the "Blogger Throwdown" against Adam Silverstein of OnlyGators.com. So of course I went, because defending FSU against Gator jabs is pretty easy, and it's a chance to be on ESPN.

For those of you who missed it (and it airs at midnight so I can understand), here's the video.

The 30-second format is just long enough to get in trouble if you try to go really in-depth, so I just tried to think on my feet and not have rehearsed answers.

Nervous as all get out to start, but I thought I held it together pretty well.

Who wins? You decide.

And no, I don't usually have the beard. That's for No Shave November, to raise prostate cancer awareness.
