Auburn reportedly interested in Florida State's Dameyune Craig

The raid on FSU's coaching staff might be ongoing.

Another member of the Florida State coaching staff could soon be leaving Tallahassee, if reports are correct.

Craig would probably have to be a running back or receiver coach at Auburn, as offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee will coach Auburn's quarterbacks. He coached receivers at South Alabama in 2008 and '09.

Of course, Craig is being targeted for his recruiting prowess, which is tremendous, particularly in Alabama, as Auburn knows all too well after losing battles to FSU in recent years.

Craig makes $205,000 at Florida State. Auburn can surely offer more than the Seminoles.

And then there's this...

Craig is routinely accused of dirty recruiting by opposing fans, the loudest contingent of which has come from Auburn, whom Craig quarterbacked in 1996 and 1997.

Those battles with Auburn have led to some fans in orange and blue to hold ill will toward Craig. Despite being an Auburn alum, he is rumored to have used negative tactics against the Tigers, including allegations of racism.
