Michael Rogner is in a doozy of a winter storm out west and has no power, so I'll try to fill in with a quick hitter. I'll still post a full article tomorrow morning, complete with lots of quotes about Aaron Thomas and Michael Ojo...real interesting stuff on Ojo.
- Noles looked ugly but ugly wins are a lot better than ugly losses.
- White had a double-double: 19 points and 11 rebounds, with 4 of them offensive.
- FSU sported a woeful 97.5 offensive efficiency rating, largely due to turnovers on over 29% of their possessions. Fortunately, the defense created turnovers on almost 35% of ULM's possessions, as the Warhawks posted a 69.2 off. rating.
- Aaron Thomas and Okaro White combined to go 17-18 from the free throw line. The Warhawks' entire team was 3-6.
- Michael Snaer was held out due to a discipline issue. Ham indicated it was not serious, saying "It's not something I'm overly concerned about. It's over and done with."
- Due to Snaer and Miller being out, three freshman guards played at least 27 minutes in the game. The combined for 34 points (aka 54% of the team's points), 9 rebounds, 6 assists (out of FSU's total of 7), 5 steals, and only 7 of the 19 turnovers.
- FSU's next game is Saturday against UNC-Charlotte. The 49ers are 10-1, with the lone loss coming to Miami.
