Colin Blake Commits To Florida State Over TCU
Colin Blake, a top defensive back recruit out of San Antonio (Tx.) Brandies, has committed to the Florida State Seminoles. Blake is 6'3" and 185 pounds. He is rated a three star by some services and a four star by others. Blake holds offers from Florida State, TCU, Oklahoma and others. He was committed to Texas A&M for some time, but decommitted after Texas A&M changed coaches.
Florida State recruited Blake to play cornerback. From his recent interview:
MM: How did your recent Official Visit(1/13/2012) to Florida State go?
CB: It went great and I Ioved the campus. I really got along with (Ronald)Darby and Mario Edwards during the visit.
MM: Who is your main recruiter FSU and how is your relationship with him?
CB: Coach (D.J.) Eliot is my recruiter. He is real cool dude, who you can tell is sincere in what he tells you. He has been recruiting me since my Junior year.
MM: Is FSU recruiting you at Safety or Cornerback?
CB: They are recruiting me as a corner.
