But I saw a video after his announcement, him and his father said that he had made his mind up 2 weeks ago to come to FSU. His moms said the decision was finalized over the weekend.

Most of the people who posted their mock classes knew jack, too, but weren't harassed.
Except for a few posters with inside information or random encounters in gas station bathrooms, none of us know anything except internet rumors, and most of us persistent in confusing internet rumors with insider knowledge. Yet, no one gets pounced on for putting every top player in every position in their mock list.
I just hate the way he was treated, given that he was neither trolling nor being a chicken little.
There's a difference between posting your mock class and definitively saying people weren't coming here based on unsubstantiated rumors.

guessing at a mock class is not the same as proclamations based on nothing but other people’s rumors. we can take a stab at it, based on what we thought, but everyone understands that “we look good for Northrup” is not the same as “Goldman is definitely going to Auburn” without any source whatsoever, and then getting mad that people call you out on it and insisting you are right.

And once Lewis decomited from Auburn and committed to us. He said he would go back to Auburn. All things that were talked about as possible, I took Dante out of my mock as well and left him as a 50/50
