Roderrick Hoskins, a linebacker out of Orlando (Fla.) Evans High School, has committed to the Florida State Seminoles. Hoskins has not been rated by any recruiting services, as it is still quite early in the recruiting process. Hoskins is the second player from Evans high school to commit during Florida State's junior day, joining national recruit Tony Stevens, a receiver.

Hoskins told the Sentinel:

"Felt like I was at home," Hoskins also told the Orlando Sentinel. "The coaches treated us good ... just everything. The school was nice and that is pretty much it."

What is Florida State getting in Hoskins? A 6'3", 220 pound recruit with some serious athleticism. Hoskins' film is inside. In it, you can see his agility and speed. I'm not sure that Hoskins is the best tactician at this point, but there are plenty of tools to work with.

Stevens is FSU's eight or ninth commitment of the 2013 class, depending on whether Richardson sticks (see note).
