My Birthday is on March 19th
Coincidence? I think not.

Ahhhh
Mines on tax day. Day after the spring game. I started a new tradition two years ago. Basically a mini-vacation that starts with our spring game.

pretty sure YouNoleIt's birthday
will not be televised, but there’s a bake sale down the street from his place that may be on.

My birthday is just on the start of spring practice....
so no tv stations will be there.

Was planning on making a trip to Tally around then. This may have just sealed it.
My photo appeared in the Nightlife photo collage of the FSView for six weeks in-a-row. That’s who I am.
Last year(my 1st FSU experience) sealed it for me.
I’ll have my days requested off and hotel reservations made by this weekend.

How much does it usually cost to attend?
I’m interested in going and curious about how much and where to get tickets
by nole your enemy on Feb 6, 2012 3:34 PM EST via mobile reply actions
Free. Just walk in to Doak and pick a seat. They might ask for donations, but nothing has ever been mandatory.

Do you think they would accept a donation on their behalf to The Human Fund?

I miss having the spring game on the same weekend as the Miami baseball series and FSU Circus. It made for a nice spring tradition down there. I get the idea behind featuring football that weekend, but it was just a ton of fun having so much going on between Doak and Dick Howser.

Agreed! You should write an article for TN about this. it’s been brought up every year and an article would be good. If you have the time.
I’ll try to work up something short this week Bud, work’s busy but I can probably knock something out.

Would be a real good read and might get people talking

Agreed.
I am still baffled why the athletic dept can’t coordinate the Spring Game to be held on a home baseball weekend.
Read your sentence again and see if it makes sense to you then.
If not, I’ll give you a hint and it rhymes with “Spandy Retman”.

lol
all I can think of when I read that is “Ruh Roh Retman”
and, really, doesnt that fit him quite well?

Remember the old halftime activity
In my time (spring game 83 to spring game 88 – stuck around for a Master’s), halftime was an exhibition match between FSU’s woman’s rugby team and a victim of choice.

Can't wait to see our 2012 2nd String QB Jacob Coker
"Ah, F*ck it"-Lee Corso
Speaking of QBs is Clint any bigger, because the supposed “solution” to his lack of weight gain didn’t look like it was working at the end of the year.
"Baseball is like church. Many attend but few understand." - Wes Westrum, Mets Manager
He
was diagnosed with celiac disease, I think. So I’m sure he’s on a gluten-free diet now which will/should help him put on weight if they’re doing it right. We’ll see.
Dan Patrick: "Is Ponder a good name for a quarterback?"
Christian Ponder: "Why? Because you say I overthink things? is that what you’re trying to imply? As crazy as it sounds, my mom’s maiden name is actually SuperBowlWinner. Isn’t that crazy?"
DP: "Now is that hyphenated?"
CP7: "No, it’s all one word."
He can go on the 'roids too, which would help double
Not the ’roids ballers usually take, prednisone, but still; I gained like 50 pounds being on pred for 3 months
Same here, about 55 pounds. I took it for over 6 months after a pseudomonas infection colonized in my nasopharynx area and extended in to the Meckle's Cave.
My appetite was insatiable.

I'm not so sure this Jimbo fella is the right man for the job.
Wow man, thats crazy
(if you dont mind my asking) Do you have any residual neurological effects on that side of your face?
I saw him the other day
and while he isn’t big, he did actually look like he gained a little weight
Trickett and Secord should transfer
the depth chart will not be kind to them- even Clint- when our newest QBs enroll.
Not to mention...
Jimbo syays he will take at least one QB in every class.
Yes on Secord, but Trickett is 174 pounds of bad-assitude!
I still like Trickett. He was decisive. I know Wake Forest was a travesty, but even the greats have lousy games. I think he’s a great back-up (and sometimes I thought he’d be better as the starter if we’d had any semblance of a ground attack). He may challenge in 2013…
My first bit of 'Noles gear was a Zubaz hat... man, I wish I still had that hideous hat...
i lived in austin during the whole applewhite/simms thing. sometimes a guy w/none of the measurables can light up the scoreboard. clint can sling it. coker will have to really bring it in spring ball.

I am really looking forward to seeing Coker and have a good feeling about him...
but Trickett definitely showed us something last year. Good thing about Jimbo is that the best man plays.

I’d just be happy with a QB that has decent pocket presence

And can make a decision in less than 8 seconds...
That said, I am excited to see a fully healthy (fingers crossed) EJ behind a congealed O-line. I think he can be dynamic, but he was clearly missing something last year… or a couple of things…
My first bit of 'Noles gear was a Zubaz hat... man, I wish I still had that hideous hat...
I think both have a bit of coaching in them
I think Secord is sucking all the high quality education he can get out of FSU, both in the classroom and in Jimbo’s office.
Is there a particular reason it's on this day?
I hope it’s because ESPN wants to televise it.
If not there’s no reason it couldn’t be a week later for the FSU/Miami home series.
Well I guess I’ll have to watch it later. I’ll be taking the FE exam that day.

Bleh just bought my ticket to rodeo yesterday...
Spring weekend + rodeo is that weekend, that’s gotta hurt student attendance, not that that matters too much.
which rodeo?

excited about seeing Coker
Sling it..Clint Too..but I’m crossing my fingers and hoping we get to see some more KARLOS on returns and maybe even on Offense…I think it would be wise to move B Jenkins to Linebacker, can’t imagine how badass it would be to see him get some downhill steam and unload on somebody…isn’t PENDER gona be playing? That should be good and maybe we will see some promise in the O Line..either way, there’s gona be a ridiculous amount of talent in the spring and a whole lot more in the Fall..Can’t wait to See EJ having 2 badass TE’s in NOL and CK to throw to
