"I felt that by far it was the worst year that I’ve played football," he said. "It’s something that I understand now an athlete (like me) will go through. It’s a lot more than how I was looking at it. It’s more about me having to be more mature; there’s just nowhere around it.
"It was just a hard year, but a lot of that came from me and not being mature about every situation I’m in. I have to improve that and show people really the kind of athlete that I am."
