Florida State released its spring game roster today as the seniors held a draft:

The Garnet Team, which is led by such seniors as Rodney Smith, Cornellius Carradine, Dustin Hopkins and Anthony McCloud, selected junior safety Lamarcus Joyner with the first overall pick.

Paced by such seniors as EJ Manuel, Lonnie Pryor, Nick Moody and Brandon Jenkins, the Gold Team then selected redshirt freshman Kelvin Benjamin with the second overall pick. --

Quite the impressive spring for Benjamin. Will he show out on Saturday? Can he follow that up with a good summer of work? In any case, he did the things he needed to do (get the schoolwork taken care of, get in shape, attend team functions) that he needed to do to put himself in position to show his talents on the field.
