On a day that was all about him, E.J. Levenberry had a ceremony that was anything but in committing to Florida State. He seemed more focused on thanking his family, teammates, coaches, faculty, media, and college coaches who recruited him even though he did not choose their school.
Levenberry is a 6'3", 230 pound linebacker recruit. While not a freak athlete, he is considered one of the surest bets in the class of 2013, due to his extensive playing experience and substantial power. Levenberry also held offers from Michigan, Auburn, Alabama, Georgia, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Florida, Miami, Penn State and Ohio State.
Levenberry is the ninth recruit in Florida State's 2013 class, and the third linebacker. The 'Noles project to take as many as 30 recruits in 2013, and potentially as many as five linebackers. FSU is about even with its recruiting pace of 2012, and is expected to land another top class.
