Top Ranked FSU Takes Break from ACC Play, Hosts URI
The Florida State Seminoles will host the best team in the Atlantic 10 division this weekend. What does that mean? Fortunately for the Noles not much, the Rhode Island Rams might be the best team in their conference but the A10 is pretty weak with a record of 3-31 against teams in the Top 50 RPI this season. The Rams have one of those three wins against Top 50 (College of Charleston) but the majority of their success has been against weak competition. Not much changes for the Noles this weekend outside of Justin Gonzalez who is still nursing an injury and will play sparingly if at all. The rotation stays the same as it was last week with Sitz in the Sunday spot. Florida State should sweep a team of this caliber but even one loss wouldn’t do much in the grand scheme of things. None of the games are televised but will be on the radio if you’re local to Tallahassee. Go Noles!
