The Florida State Seminoles took two of three from NCST this past weekend to tie the record for most conference wins in a season. This is a great accomplishment as many thought this would be a down year for Florida State when it appears to be a down year for the conference as a whole. Florida State has the tougher pool in my opinion drawing #8 seed GT in the first game which means facing one of the best pitchers in the ACC in Buck Farmer. Virginia (#4) and Clemson (#5) are the other two teams in Pool A. Clemson just recently took the series against the Noles but then were promptly swept by a Wake Forest. The Seminoles did sweep UVA earlier in the season but the Cavaliers have become a much better team since. FSU opens up Wednesday at 11AM, a complete preview later on this week.
