Florida State senior outfielder James Ramsey and NC State freshman pitcher Carlos Rodon lead the 2012 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball Team, as announced today by Commissioner John Swofford. Ramsey, who led the Seminoles to the Atlantic Division title and the No. 1 seed in this week's ACC Championship at Greensboro's NewBridge Bank Park, was selected as the conference Player of the Year in a vote of the league's 12 head coaches. Coach of the Year honors went to Florida State's Mike Martin for the seventh time. Martin became the third coach in NCAA Division I history to post at least 1,700 career wins while guiding the Seminoles to the Atlantic Division title, a 43-12 overall record and a No. 1 national ranking for several weeks late in the regular season. Florida State became just the third team in ACC history to post 24 league wins in a season. Ramsey, Boyd, Travis and Benincasa made 1st Team All ACC and freshman pitcher Mike Compton make 2nd Team.
