Brian Ethridge, a man that's been way out in front on conference realignment indicates Texas and the Big 12 are pushing hard for ND. Says an agreement to bring ND's Olympic Sports to the Big 12 in 2014 is near. Then in 2017 ND would become a full member of the Big 12 - 2017 is when they can redo their NBC contract. However, depending on how the vote goes on June 20th for the Conference Champions model of playoff, ND could become a full Big 12 member sooner.
