NCAA Will Give Penn State 'Unprecedented' Punishment, But Not Death Penalty

Against Both the University and the football team. ESPN also reporting this and judging from this quote "CBS News has learned that the NCAA will announce what a high-ranking association source called "unprecedented" penalties against both the Penn State University football team and the school. "I've never seen anything like it," the source told correspondent Armen Keteyian. NCAA President Mark Emmert will make the announcement Monday morning at 9 a.m. at the organization's headquarters in Indianapolis." It sounds like the decision has been made and the death penalty has been said to never have been removed from the table. Add in them removing the statue of Joe Pa this morning and reading between the lines means this is bad news for PSU. But this is coming down pretty fast as of Monday the announcement is being made, I am very interested to hear this Update** Sources have indicated a fine of over $30 mill. A couple reports have made reference to a high of $60 mill, however I believe it will be closer to the former then the latter. With money going towards sexual abuse charities. What portion and info on postseason bowl bans and scholarship losses is still unknown. But have been said to be crippling as well. Don't be surprised to see anything from 50 over 5 years along with a bowl ban in that time to numbers we never imagined.. Many rumors. Some think it may be more, some less, but judging from the speed this happened, and the fine already we know involved. Looks like the extreme is here. And a 10/5 would not shock me in the least. Will update as news comes.
