Version 2: 2013 Predicted Football Recruiting Class

It's been about a month since I gave a full recruiting class prediction for 2013, and I'm going to update it now given the influx of recent commits. Lets start off with the players who are currently committed, we have (source ESPN):

Ryan Green, RB, 4 stars

Maquedius Bain, DT, 4 stars

Austin Golson, OT, 4 stars

Tony Stevens, WR, 4 stars

Ro'Derrick Hoskins, OLB, 4 stars

Ira Denson, OG, 4 stars

Adrian Baker, ATH (will play CB), 4 stars

Freddie Stevenson, OLB, 4 stars

E.J. Levenberry, ILB, 4 stars

Tyrell Lyons, OLB, 4 stars

Sojourn Shelton, CB, 4 stars

Michael Johnson, CB, 4 stars

Marquez White, CB, 4 stars

Jesus Wilson, WR, 3 stars

Christian Morgan, TE, 3 stars

Ryan Hoefeld, OC, 3 stars

These names compile a commit total of 16 names, 6 of which are in the ESPNU 150 and 9 who are in the ESPNU 300. The class is impressive for early July, but I believe the best is yet to come. Expect one of the corner commits to decommit, probably Shelton who will get an opportunity to play early at another Division 1 school. I expect Matthew Thomas and Artie Burns, two South Florida elite players who are in the ESPNU 150, to commit, as well as 3 star DB Rashard Robinson and 4 star OLB Mike Mitchell from Texas. I don't expect either Hargreaves or Alexander to sign with FSU come February as well. That would pretty much fill out all of the linebacker and defensive back spots. For those of you inquiring about Marcell Harris, I expect him to sign with UF. With the 20-21 (depending on Shelton) spots filled, Fisher and company would like to shift their attention to offense and defensive end. FSU will go after Tim Williams and David Bellamy hard, and I expect Bellamy to choose FSU while Williams goes LSU. FSU will also be in the Laremy Tunsil sweepstakes, but it is common knowledge that FSU is probably not in his top 3 (Alabama, Florida, Georgia). I also don't expect Denver Kirkland to commit. Fisher might go after another running back, but I don't expect another to commit, unless it is Tarean Folston who would play running back but it listed as an athlete. I expect Folston to commit. This brings us to Wide Receiver, FSU is going hard after two: Alvin Bailey and Stacey Coley. Both are in the ESPNU 150, and both are very talented prospects. I expect Alvin Bailey to commit but Coley to choose elsewhere. All things considered, FSU should end up with a class of 24. The final class should look something like this:

Ryan Green, RB, 4 stars

Tony Stevens, WR, 4 stars

Ro'Derrick Hoskins, OLB, 4 stars

Ira Denson, OG, 4 stars
