First off, I'm darn near positive we will have a top 10 class. Thing is there is no reason it shouldn't be top 5, and I'm not sure we are going to get there. In a year when miami is down and a cloud is hanging over their entire program, we currently appear not to be taking FULL advantage of that in the state of Florida. The equation is simple, when 1 of the big 3 is down, the other 2 load up. When 2 of 3 are down, the 3rd wins national titles, as in probably more than 1.

Where are our difference makers and game changers? Honestly, other than Ryan Green, I'm not sure we have a game changer in the class. The state Florida is FULL of game changers on both sides of the ball, but none seem to be in our class. We need RBs, LBs, and DE very VERY badly. EJ ain't feeling the love. RB's should be lining up to play for Gran. Don't get me started on our DE recruiting. Not to mention that we are thin at DB and got thinner today. We "may" get Mac Alexander, but had to go with a package deal to really appear to get in the running. (I like his brother btw) We are in the running for Mathews and Coley, but right now it appears that our DEs will be guys passed as soon as next cycle...JMHO. For the record I'm thrilled with our OL recruiting.

But back to my earlier point. um is down, uf is loading up, and we are outside of the top 10 in some of the rankings. What's up? Did Jimbo fall asleep at the wheel for a bit? Did our STAFF get complacent? Is our staff focusing more on the season than recruiting...which I'm sorta ok with because that will pay off in recruiting. Just some stuff I'm pondering because presently, I'm not happy with a class that doesn't appear to have kids that will push the ones older than them and currently on the roster. I don't expect the entire class to be made of that kind talent, but it's that kind of talent put underneath current players that push them to be better at an earlier date. You can't boil water unless you apply heat from below.

Of course things will shuffle around and it's still early, but right now I thought I would just pop that question. I'm glad there is a site where I don't have to worry about hurting people's feelings also.
