Matthew Thomas is making his second visit to Florida State in less than a month Saturday. The nation's top uncommitted linebacker out of Miami recently named Florida State his leader.
Despite him doing so, many believed that he would eventually commit to the hometown Miami Hurricanes. This second visit might change a few minds in South Florida, however, as Thomas will likely miss Miami's 'Rising Senior Day' event (Sunday) due to his trip to Tallahassee.
& skipping Miami's rising senior day? Hmm. Guess FSU is his true leader RT— TomahawkNation.com (@TomahawkNation) August 11, 2012
@jmnpb: Matthew Thomas on campus? That's pretty good.
Thomas is a freakish athlete and one of the best linebacker recruits to come out of Florida in quite a while.
Will Thomas commit this weekend? I can't be sure. But this second visit, when much of his team will be in Coral Gables tomorrow, shows that naming Florida State his leader was not just talk.
