Tremendous defensive end Aaron Lynch, who transferred from Notre Dame to USF, had his play immediately waiver denied Thursday.

— The waiver would have allowed him to terrorize Florida State's inexperienced offensive tackles. Instead, he'll get to play in 2013, when FSU doesn't play USF.
