Will FSU's 2012 Defense be the Best Ever, Statistically or Period?

As we all know, FSU's 2012 defense will be formidable. As we all know, FSU's 2012 schedule is not considered quite so formidable. So when you combine the 2, what's the outcome? Statistically, does this year's defense has a chance to compete for the best ever in FSU history. In the 90s, UF and UM were generally talented enough to put up points on FSU defenses that almost entirely graduated to the NFL. Other teams had no such luck. This year both UF and UM have serious questions surrounding their offenses. Clemson has their own concerns along the OL, a concern FSU fans are all to familiar with after 2011. As do the VT Hokies who lost 4 of their 5 starting OL, and their #1 TE. So there are the best 4 biggest game FSU plays in 2012. Just how good can FSU's 2012 defense be?
