USF was favored by eight points Thursday night over Rutgers. They expected to beat the Scarlet Knights.

And shortly before the game came this tweet, with the info coming from the USF ticket office.

Seems like USF was planning to release the tickets after USF beat Rutgers (as was expected).

But the 4-0 start didn't happen. Instead, USF imploded and lost its ninth conference game in the last 10 tries. Think USF fans will be motivated to buy tickets for this one now? Me neither.

But FSU fans will be all too happy to scoop them up and turn Raymond James Stadium into an FSU home game.

UPDATE: It appears as though USF pulled back on the Ticketmaster release. Unconfirmed reports indicate that USF will announce a new sale date via email to season ticket holders. The move seems consistent with the thought that demand from USF fans the morning after losing to Rutgers would not be as strong anticipated.
