Hello all. Let me start off by saying that I didn't generally get a feeling that USF fans are/were terrible. However, I appear to be the only one as I have spoken to many friends who attended and complained about a variety of things ranging in the general character of USF fans to a lack of event planning ability by USF.
One thing I did notice is USF's willingness to celebrate mediocrity. It just seemed like they were willing to trot anyone/any team out who had accomplished anything during their season. It's nice to see a university supporting these accomplishments, but it would be difficult to be proud of your university when they act as if they accomplished something then you look around and notice the stadium filled (even worse then 2010 in Miami) with FSU fans. I don't know if I am being some kind of elitist, but it just seemed like our fans (at least the ones I was surrounded with) would keep their mouths shut, clap, and act accordingly. Thoughts?
