Atlantic:
FSU: Coming into this game I had them as a 10-2 or 11-1 team. Nothing changed. Stock: Hold
Clemson: Coming into this game, I had the Tigers as maybe a 9-3 (6-2) team. I am not inclined to to buy or sell their stock right now. They did exactly what they were supposed to do against Ball St., beating them by 25. That said, that win against Auburn is looking a little bit less impressive right now, so while I would hold on them, they are closer to getting their stock downgraded than upgraded. Stock: Hold
NC State: Originally I think NC State looked like a 8-4 (5-3) team. After last week I downgraded them a little bit to maybe 7-5. Today 3 point victory over a mediocre UConn team did nothing to make me think they are any better or worse than the 7-5 team I thought they were last week. Stock: Hold
Boston College: BC was down 3-0 at the end of the first quarter, but completely dominated the second half. In the preseason I was much more of a pro-BC fan than I remember. I actually picked them to go 4-4 in the ACC. There stock is down from that as I now see them a 5-7 (3-5) type team. That said, their stock has not changed much since last week. Stock: Hold
Wake Forest: I think most people had Wake as a 5 to 7 win team in the preseason and I was lower on them than most thinking of them as a 4-8 (2-6 team). Their opening week game against Liberty did nothing to make me change my mind and made me think I was correct. After the win against UNC, I have a higher opinion of Wake. I see them as a 5 or 6 win team now. Stock: Upgrade.
Maryland: I had UMD as a 3 win team. I had them beating W&M and splitting the Temple and UConn games. Its too early to upgrade the Terps, but if they beat UConn I'll definitely upgrade their stock as they wold be a whole game ahead of where I thought they were. They rely on a lot of young players and that will be their undoing in some winnable games this year. Stock: Hold
Coastal:
1. UNC: Their game against Wake shows how meaningless FCS wins, UNC pounds Elon 61-0 and Wake escapes Liberty 20-17, yet a week later Wake beats UNC. I think UNC was probably overconfident, but their defense probably really is not as good as I thought it was. I was thinking of UNC as a 8 or 9 win team and now I think of them as a 6 or 7 win team. Stock: Downgrade
2. VT: VT beat a FCS team. Hard to tell anything from a win like that: Stock: Hold
3. GT: Beat an overmatched FCS team. Hard to tell anything from a win like that. Stock: Hold
4. UVA: Last week I upgraded them as I saw them originally as 5-7 type team, but after last week I saw them more as a 7-5 type team. The win over PSU was nice, but they still looked like a 7-5 type team. Stock: Hold
5. Miami: I saw Miami as a 6-6 type team after last week. I am not quite ready to downgrade, just like I refused to upgrade them last week. For the second week, I'll hold on them despite the tempation both weeks to either upgrade them (after BC game) or downgrade them (K-State game). Stock: Hold
6. Duke: I saw Duke as 3-9 type team going into the season. Last week I said, though tempted to upgrade them for the win against FIU, FIU outgained them a 100 yards so I was going to keep them on hold. This week they got blitzed by Stanford. I still see this a 3-9 type team. Stock: Hold
